Dear Autumn,
Hello. It’s me again. Your old friend and fan, Maria. Maybe you remember me from the good old days when I wrote to you… Once upon a time, I was quite the constant writer of letters to you. Or maybe, you do not remember. It does not matter. For here I am again!
My dear Autumn, you are almost here. The days are growing a bit smaller, the weather is somewhat colder than before. The occasional sunny day returns and I appreciate it when that is one of our weekend days, as we can enjoy them more. However, I cannot hide my anticipation for you. I look forward to the colder days, the warm coats, the gloves and scarves, the early dark hours of the day, the rain and the colours you bring along to paint all trees. As a matter of fact, I get too excited when I see some of the trees having leaves of red and orange already!
Some areas around my hometown have already preparing decorations to match your coming days! Pumpkins are stacking up and people are already looking for the right sized pumpkin to carve for Halloween. Some seasonal plants have appeared and decoration for the spooky days you bring along are everywhere in stores! And yes, I have bought some!
Autumn, I am waiting for you. Please hurry up and come along!
