Sharing Thoughts

… to the fullest!

Daily writing prompt
What are your thoughts on the concept of living a very long life?

I started thinking about life and the concept of what a very long life is around 2014. That year, although good in some ways, was also the year where my heart got broke after one particular loss. Back on that day, I cried and yelled and cried even more. But eventually, when the time was right, I realized that everything comes to an end and when that person in my life passed away, it was their time and they left this life happy. And indeed, after a very long life.

Now, when I think about living such a life, my feeling are mixed and complicated from time to time. I am just another 33 year old woman that spends her days working, around loved ones, doing things she likes and trying to make memories to keep and look back into, when I need to. Let’s face it, though. Do I want to think about thee future that much and how I will spend my time living a very long life? No. Probably not. I mean… how do you fill that life? What do you do to be busy? What did my grandparents do to keep themselves busy? I tend to grow bored of doing the same thing for a very long time quite easily! Is this how it’s going to be in the future?!

I guess all you can do is to live your life, the way you want it to be, and to the fullest. If I think back to it, I have been here fo 33 years, now going to the 34th. And all those years were filled with memories of all kinds. I’ve had adventures with my family, my friends, my partners… I’ve had my own adventures. And dear ready, I extremely happy about those. I have appreciated all those years and whatever I have been gone through. So… my thoughts on living a very long life has changed over time and even more so. I take it one step at a time, one day at a time, I make memories with others, I appreciate things and I thank whoever is up there for what has been given to me.

What are your thoughts on living such a long life? Let me know!
