Letters to Autumn

Letters to Autumn 3.

Dear Autumn,

Life seems to be playing a game of opposites with me. You know3, that game we used to play with our parents as kids, when they say one thing and we’d do the other, and they would look at us with puzzled faces…? Well, life is a laughing child and I am my parents.

When I am in a rush, everything seems to go in slow motion. People, transport, you name it. But on days when I am with my family, relaxing and wishing to enjoy that time I have off work , everything speeds up. I wake up, I blink and there. The day is gone!

Tell me, Autumn, how is it already Monday? This past week, it was a Half term break for us from work… I will admit that I did almost nothing other than being at home and seeing my parents. It was a good break, but was it too short? It feels like it, anyway. And why is that, Autumn?

Autumn, remind me to apologize to my parents. This was a stupid game to play…

Yours

Maria
