Destinations

We (and by we I mean my husband and I) grabbed the chance of a long week (and a week off that i had anyway) to board a plane and be off to an island south of Italy.

Now, this has been a destination that many told me a lot about and most of all George… Since his first visit to Malta, he had – and continues – to talk about that country… Sure, I can openly admit now that Malta is beautiful if you are up for a relatively rocky place with nice beaches and a weird language being spoken. Putting that aside, though, Malta is rich in history due to the Knights that lived there before – hence the cross. It is an island that many productions of movies and shows prefer for its unique beauty and corners. Some of these (the most famous) are: Jurassic World, Game of Thrones, Napoleon and the Gladiator and even Popeye in the 80s!… If you have watches these movies and then browse through pictures of the island, you will find all the spots.

Below, you can check out some of the images I captured! Enjoy!

Yes. There is a crane in the port of Valetta which has been painted to resemble a giraffe. How cool is that?!
