Sharing Thoughts

Let’s have a coffee.

And catch up!

Happy Saturday, all.

Summer feels like it has finally arrived because for two days in a row, we have experienced and dealt with a lot of heat and a stifling atmosphere. More specifically , yesterday at work was probably one of the most difficult days I can remember having. Obviously, not because of work itself….

It is Saturday now, though, another hot day with the possibility of rain at some point during the day. When? I do not know. Nevermind that… I am here to share a coffee with you and catch up on things. It’s been a hot minute since we got to do that.

How have things been for you lately? Or this week?

It has been a busy week for us…. Work has been hectic but an easy week as we only worked for four days. Next week is even shorter with 3 days to go through… The life of a teacher is definitely not an easy one! I can tell you as much.

On another note, however, summer brings a lot of possibilities for venturing outside and enjoying life. The city is quite beautiful during this time of the year and during the day, but the most magical hour – at least from my perspective – is the night. If you have never been to Cologne in Germany, then you should! There are a plethora of things to see and do around the city centre with its old town and beautiful streets and lots of good pubs and restaurants to choose from. I am planning on enjoying some afternoons and evenings downtown with friends and my husband… Pictures will be taken and shared!

One more of my most favourite past times is going to the movies. That’s what I did last night, with my husband. We decided to watch the famous movie of How to Train your Dragon, a movie we loved as an animated one from some years ago. Honestly, in my opinion, it was a good live-action movie, fresh and with beautiful scenery and moments!! I wish those dragons were real!

And here’s a question for you… Do you prefer salty or sweet popcorn?

Germany is big with sweet popcorn. You can find both. And even a mix of the two in some cinemas. But, I love love love the salty popcorn. I grew up in a country that had only salty popcorn.

I will cut it short here and try to finish that morning coffee of mine before getting ready for whatever the day brings… But let me tell you that…. Enjoy life. Smile, live and just enjoy even moment. Be kind to others. Travel. Make memories with your loved ones.
