Tattoos and mine.

Daily writing prompt
What tattoo do you want and where would you put it?

I am not one that can bare pain much. I never was. I am way too sensitive and there are certain things I want to see in my future, things I want to happen, that will include pain. It is terrifying and yet, I am still hoping to experience those things. Now handling the pain is a completely different thing and when the time comes, there are, maybe, solutions. Let’s just skip that.

The matter of getting a tattoo is something I have been talking about to friends and thinking quite often this past year, or two. There is a limit to what kind of tattoos I would get and the spot on my body I would gladly get those. In addition to that, tattoos are meant to be meaningful, at least for me, to get them. I want to believe that most people have a reason behind each picture they add on their bodies. If not, fair enough. But what kind of tattoo would I get?

Well, there are a couple of things I’d like to get. A rose, three little paws for each of my pets so far, the symbol of the Deathly Hallows because I am a big Harry Potter fan, something related to the Elvish language from Tolkien’s works, etc. Each one is related to something I like or a very important phase in my life. However, there is one tattoo I would like to get and maybe I will, you never know!

… .–. -.– .-. — …

This little mess of dots and dashes above is the name of my favourite grandfather, one of the most important people in my life, a man who influenced me a lot in life, taught me a lot of things and was always there. His name was Spyros and he was the father of my mother. He practically raised me and I have many many many fond memories of him. He was probably the strongest man I have ever known, second beind my mother and my father. He was kind, generous, caring, funny, full of stories and a hard life. He knew how to live life to the fullest. He knew how to take care of everybody. He never hesitated in helping us around the house. He was a hero to me.

If I decided to get his name as a tattoo in this morse code, then I would probably choose to have it either on my arm or on my side. Maybe I will get it at some point. Let’s see.
