Sharing Thoughts

Have a coffee with me. August 17th.

Hello! And welcome! Make yourself at home and I will grab your favorite coffee or anything else you’d like. How about this mug? Chip from Beauty and the Beast is one of my special mugs and favorites… It’s a decent day here, not too warm or too cold. A bit cloudy thought with a promise of rain.

Today was a busy day. Actually, I flew back home yesterday from the sunny Greece where I had a wonderful 3-week vacation. Oh yes, I was up and about really early as I had that flight to catch, but it’s all over now. Where did I stay? Well, I have a house in a relatively not so famous island, Aegina if you have heard of it. That’s where I was for most of the time and then I finally managed to visit Thessaloniki in the north and some of the villages a bit further up in the map. That’s where my boyfriend is from, you see.

We didn’t do much other than relax, read, swim, feed cats, eat delicious food and explore some areas. It was hot, but we avoided that as much as we could.

Today, however, was a new day back home. Lots of things had to be done, one of them being the cleaning of my bedroom. You see, my bedroom… it’s a bit more than just a bed-room. It’s, what I like to call, my little heaven. That’s where I find my peace after a day of work, when something is bothering me… That is why I like to keep it nicely decorated and I always add something small to it. Actually, I’ve been planning on spicing up my desk area a bit in the near future.

I have a couple of things to do still before I can sit and relax and finish a book I’ve been reading lately. It’s called ”Daughters of Sparta” by Clair Heywood. Anything related to ancient Greece catches my attention since last year or the year before, can’t remember when I started gathering such books. I highly recommend this one!! Here’s a picture for you to take a look at it.

I need to be on my way though! Thanks for stopping by. I will catch up with you soon!
